Gentiana Alba

Gentiana alba is an herbaceous flowering plant native to North America. This painting features a grasshopper perched atop the flower with an ambush bug below. Gouache paint with gold accent on 11x15 watercolor paper.

This painting was accepted into the Northern Lights Juried Art Exhibition at the White Bear Center for the Arts in 2023. View the online show.
